Why is everyone assuming marriage = babies?
It’s the 21st century, people. A man and a woman CAN marry each other and NOT have children.

I had someone tell me they were talking about having kids because they were expected to. Wtf? Not having children doesn’t make you a lesser human being. It’s a choice just like everything else.
So much this! I’ve seen people have kids just because it was the “expected” thing and it always goes badly for the kids and stresses the marriage. Kids aren’t for everyone and no one should feel forced into being a parent.
